Carry On

Gone are the days that last forever/ Gone are the nights that lingered on and on/ Gone are the things we did together/ All we do is carry on/We toiled hard in our labors/ To buy us things to show the neighbors/ But after everything has been said and done/ All we do is carry on// Therefs got to be something better than this/ Therefs got to be something that we missed along the way/ Therefs got to be more to life than living than dying/ Therefs got to be more to life than what wefve made/ The years have passed by so quickly /I turned around and they were gone/ And time sure hasnft missed me/ The lines on my face are clearly drawn/ The things we thought were important/ Were just holes in the road/ And though therefs quite an assortment/ I just learned to let them go// Therefs got to be something better than this/ Therefs got to be something that we missed along the way/ Therefs got to be more to life than living than dying/ Therefs got to be more to life than what wefve made//
